If We're Lucky Fishing Charters can guide you to the trophy salmon and "barn door" halibut which swim in the waters around southern Vancouver Island. IWL has a portable, modern vessel and a knowledgeable captain, Paul Paquin, so you, the guest, can reach the "fishiest" areas in Juan de Fuca Strait, from Victoria to Port Renfrew.

Most travelers know Victoria, BC to be a destination of beauty and charm. But many might not know this city for its great angling and rugged seascapes.   Some of Vancouver Island’s finest fishing lies within easy reach of the city of Victoria through all four seasons.

The company uses a well-equipped 21-foot Campion walkaround cabin vessel named If We’re Lucky. Two 2004 Yamaha four- stroke outboards power the vessel that is moved on a tandem axle trailer to the spots that are most promising at the time of the year you visit.   The private marine head adds to your comfort and security when cruising with IWL.

Your day's catch ...

... will be stored, photographed, cleaned and, if you like, filleted by the skipper.  Anglers need only be dressed warmly and properly licensed for a day of fishing.  Coffee and beverages will be provided.  A box lunch and cold weather floater suits can be arranged.
